Tapping the button before speaking gets highly annoying. Echo with built in speaker is still the GOAT.

Yeah I wish they would add a cradle listening mode to it, but I'm happy I decided on copping the echo as well, have it bedside so being able to tell Alexa to play my podcast or play my Pandora station for 30mins by voice is a feeling,and that's why I cant fukk with the Tap, now I wanna look into getting them hue bulbs so I can control those and be even lazier

Yeah I put the Echo dot in my car since Apple decided to drop the headphone jack on the iPhone 7. So now I just bluetooth to the dot and run the dot through the auxiliary. It's really dope.
