I probably go alone maybe once a month. matineee times when hardly anybody is in there. The other times I go with my girl. We have a good time when we go together, but when you go alone you get to focus ALL of your attention on the movie, enjoying the popcorn by yourself, you have a whole empty row to kick back stretch out and relax. You can react as
as you want versus being 
when someone else is with you. It's my favorite "ME" time.
I do. The way my work schedule is, some days I'm off when other folks are at work and kids are at school. I roll to the theater and go see a flick. There are usually very few people there. Usually tight security is lax so I end up seeing 2 and if I have time, and if something is out 3 movies for one ticket. Stop at Walgreens beforehand and pick up the movie type candy that they sell and just put it in my pocket. Thats just how I do.

Only done it once. Took a weekday off so everyone else was at work - was midday and bored. Honestly, I had a great time. Didn't have to worry about friends meeting up late, sat exactly where I wanted too, popcorn/pop all to myself 
Only thing that was a piss off is some girl brought her bf and had to explain everything to him as the movie was based off a book.
Haven't done it since, but if I find myself in same scenario I will.

I've been doing that, my girl don't want to see this nerdy shyt, my friends don't want to see this nerdy shyt (though I think they do on the low and just too p*ssy to admit it)
Then you got people that you bring to the movie, and they just annoy the shyt out of you because you can tell they rather be somewhere else.
So I just go by myself, I know i'll enjoy it, end of story
