My mom overdoes a lot of stuff out of love but it's because we have a very strong relationship and I'm the only child. She gets made fun of a lot by the family because of how much she "overdoes" her love for me.

Two weeks ago I had a sore throat and a bad cough. She heard me on the phone, freaked out and said she was gonna buy me some soup and tea even though I already had both. This lady came over with:

12 cans of Chicken Noodle Soup
3 Big Liters of Ginger Ale
2 boxes of Orange Juice
Box of Tea, and brought lemon juice, Honey and Cinnamon to put in the tea
3 Different Kinds of Medicine
2 bags of cough drops (I had already brought some but she said it wasn't enough when I told her on the phone)
8 to 10 various bags of frozen vegetables such as corn, green beans and mixed vegetables.
And a hot and fresh rotisserie chicken

Now wtf does food have to do with me not feeling good?

I love her to death though. I'll do anything in the world for her.
