:dahell: How do you think we were socialist in the 60's in any way?

No one wants a pure socialist country. We want a country where there's a more balanced socioeconomic populace. You can't have that when corporations are buying the government and crippling the middle-lower class.

This is also how you end up with rich people's heads rolling on the ground. You need a balanced socioeconomic structure to survive as a country.
Assuming we survive climate change and there are no worldwide disasters, someday in the next century/few centuries hopefully we will have one. :blessed: Especially when we enter an era of vastly more abundance due to exponential technological growth. For now democratic socialism and a mixed economy is ideal.

That's gonna require an economy without scarcity, which means we find a zero cost source of energy.

Hopefully that happens one day, but I doubt it will be in our lifetime.

Can you imagine how much better life would be with zero-cost energy? Having a drought? Desalinization is free and you can pump water inland for free. No more famines, honestly we could wipe out deserts altogether. We could literally change this world into a freaking paradise.

I think Bernie & Rand are the two best candidates for anyone who is anti-military industrial complex.

But Rand Paul has become a non stop flip flopper i can't take him serious anymore.

Matter a fact i can't fukk with Rand at all.

My uncle just told me its a waste of time to care about someone who can't win. It's like people already just assume in the end it will be Bush vs Clinton in 2016.

@thekingsmen what dirt you got on this nicca bernie...

i'm starting to love this jew. i cannot allow myself to love him :to:

As @Serious asked me before, he is semi-legit with his economics and social forums aspects but don't get it confused about his foreign policy. He has been asked in the past about Israel and he has kinda proven he is for 2 state solutions but blames Israel's problems on Hamas, not on it's government.

:salute:

Dude is unapologetic, brings numbers to back his cause and has a clear cut target for where the money will come from. It's refreshing that he actually outright says "we're raising the taxes on these guys and that's how it should be" ...no semantics, no covering his tracks, he's pointing over there and saying "I'm coming at these guys for this behavior." Whether you agree with it is up to you, but he's not fronting like the rest of the politicians, some of which can't even admit invading Iraq was a mistake.
