Who is branded a "technical wrestler" but doesn't deserve that title?

Angle.
- His strikes and grapple moves are unconvincing
- His style is garbage
- He doesn't make you believe that's he's putting on a "technical" match because he forever getting his shyt in
- Boring in the ring
- Boring submission holds
The only time I ever saw him try to be the "technical marvel" he was billed as in 2000 was against Chris Benoit in No Mercy. Looking back on it, it's a bit laughable.
I guess he was more technical in 1996-97, maybe, but he had long shed that style when he rose up.

I think like 90-95% of the wrestlers labeled as "technical" are wrongly being labeled as such. Mainly because the term technical wrestling is ridiculously broad and what someone considers "technical" wont always align with what others think.
To me, for example, guys like Bret Hart, Ricky Steamboat and Bryan Danielson weren't technical wrestlers for the majority of their careers. I always laughed at Flair being considered one because Naitch was anything but that. Angle is another good example.

I want to start a class action lawsuit to stop here for using the Hitman's theme.
And how come nobody on tv ever mentions that her tata's have their own zip code? I want answers.
I think it's because the bar for technicality is pretty low, since a LOT of wrestling is just punchkick, and stuff like working limbs/psychology isn't common, even going as far back as the 90s at minimum.
