He's great but there are multiple backs in the draft who can likely match whatever his output will be next season. Charbonnet and Tyjae Spears for instance. If you have two picks in the 1st round and get your main target with the first pick, I guess it makes sense? Lions have two 1st picks tho and I wouldn't take him.

I don’t think it’s a bad move since there’s no commitment on it. A healthy pollard is definitely worth $10M a year, considering it’s just this year and they have all the flexibility going forward. In the meantime, look for your future RB in the draft and have them tag team the backfield this year.
