I clearly said I have other examples

How do you explain Barry Sanders?

What about Walter Payton who had somebody named Bob Avellini as his QB when he won the MVP in 1977? :pachaha:

If you're truly special as a RB it doesn't matter who the QB is

My point here is that you don't have to be "special" to be a consistently good RB, especially in today's league. It's entirely possible Bijan is a better back, or will be a better back than Najee. That doesn't mean Najee is trash.

The days of Pittsburgh having a OL that was effective enough to where Le'Veon Bell was able to stop and take a piss before choosing a rushing lane are no longer here.

:what: nikka look at the people you are naming tho.
That’s the point nikka :pachaha:

A special RB is a SPECIAL RB

You can‘t have nikkas like regular Najee Harris out here playing with regular QBs and expect him to be great

That nikka needs a hole

Great RBs don’t NEED a hole they make something outta nothing

:mindblown:

Oh yeah no question you don’t have to have a HOF RB to win..

But Najee is a regular ass nikka though

Two things can be true

RB's are no longer valued in the NFL as most teams do it by committee. and if u need further evidence about the declining value of rushing, look at my chicago bears who led the league in the rushing yards yet still finished with the WORST record in the NFL. I don't care how good a prospect is, I don't see teams using high first rounders on RB's for the foreseeable future.
This is a whole other argument

And you’re wrong teams will still draft RBs in the 1st rd

He just has to be truly truly great

Really I hope somebody has a break out season, we need another transcendent running back, another Walter Payton, Barry sanders, Erik dikkerson, earl Campbell
Feels like that’s been missing since Derrick Henry first got injured

Derrick Henry is a HOF RB

He followed up the foot injury with 1400 yards rushing last year

But usually it’s like 3 or 4 dudes, seems like everybody be injured or lackluster

A full season with San Fran Christian macac hopefully takes off, maybe Barkley takes another step but we need some juice in that position

If he slips to 26 Jerry won't let him fall any farther. I think he will be gone by then though. Detroit and Tampa at 18 and 19 could grab him though I doubt it for either. 21 and 22 could be fits for him too with Ekeler ready to be traded it seems i could definitely see him in Baltimore if they truly committed to Lamar Jackson and a run based play action type offense.
