He’s not getting past the saints at 8. But I want my commanders to take him at 7

99% of the time I would say RB early is a terrible choice. But this would be different for us bc

1- We’re only drafting this high bc of Jayden’s injury. So this wouldn’t be your typical ‘RB goes to trash team’ a la Jeanty or Saquon in NY

2- Rookie scale QB means we can fix the defense with money.

3- It’s a weak draft with a lot of ‘luxury’ players in their own right. The 2 OSU LBs give me Isiah Simmons vibes. All that athleticism but don’t really have positions. And even Caleb downs is a luxury. Safety is just as dependent on scheme as RB is dependent on o-line.

We’d instantly be the best offense in the league having to defend Jayden and Love. Add Likely and a cheap WR2, spend all the other money on defense
