I believe the whole "socialism is evil" thing was used as a tool to divide and win elections.

I mean to just say everything about it is evil.....

So let me say something
firstly the answer to who is more corrupt, I don't know the answer
The purpose of the thread is... why will so many people say republican?
Because their platform is racism?

Man platforms are just a façade.
Democrats talk about minorities all the time and when they get elected they never talk about them again.
It has been this way for many years, so why haven't we learnt yet?

Firstly, I don't vote republican or democrat because of partisan reasons.
I vote for individuals not parties.
I believe Socialism is evil, but I was rooting for Bernie Sanders this election nonetheless.

I remember something someone said.
He said political parties are always better while in opposition.
So Dems are better when republicans have the house or the presidency and vice versa.
After me realizing that the above statement is true I saw it's the same for mainstream medial.

So that brings me to this thread.
Who is more corrupt, republicans or democrats.
My answer is.... I don't know
All I know is republican corruption have a lot of headlines and democrat corruption have little to nothing.
So if democrats have a stronger chokehold on the media then maybe things are not what they seem?

I don't believe this at all. One of them would protect people with pre-existing conditions on health care. Protect the old and sick and the other would honestly rather throw them to the wolves.

We came one vote away from Republicans dismantling our health care with no real plan on how to fix it and most of them could give a fukk less.

How many Democrats voted in favor of screwing over the old, poor, and sick?

What was the last Obamacare like thing Republicans had to stand up to Democrats for in congress to stop them from screwing over the people of this country in recent history? The last bill or law Democrats tried to pass knowingly hurting the citizens of the country that Republicans had to actually stand up take the moral high ground and defend our citizens?

Democrats are bad they'll let us have Obamacare but not single payer. Republicans are worse they won't let you have single payer and they don't want you to have Obamacare either. They're cool with you just dying with no health coverage.

It's like this if you don't really wanna lose anything but if you have to lose one would you rather lose a finger or an arm? Democrats are losing a finger Republicans are losing an arm.

We've had equal 8 years of a Dem...and 8 years of a Republican in the 21st century......it's clear, both are very bad.

Which is worse is like asking is Pepsi or Coca-Cola worse for your health...

Because I grew up in a strong Democratic household, I would have said 16 years ago Republicans abso-fuucking-lutely.....but tge last 8 years has really allowed as a grownup to see the Dem. corruption is pretty potent in its own ways. At the top and mid levels equally bad....but I would give the more corrupt edge to Republicans on the lower levels.
