They are the only big time program that has went through 2 coaching searches and and during each search they hired their 5th choice of the job.

They have beaten one ranked team in like 4 years.

Michigan needs 1 more recruiting class and a good QB (wtf happened to Gardner?) and USC will be straight if they hire the right guy especially since they got their schollys back. Alabama has one 9 loss season and three 6 loss seasons in the past decade. Any of those teams can be a couple of years from turning it around no matter where they are today

Florida is struggling at WR and QB. Urban Meyer left Muschamp with track recruits, and Muschamp has been pretty slow with the recruiting at these two positions. They hired Joker Phillips as a WR coach, and there's been some improvement though. We've lost a lot of close games just because our offense can't put it together. If a capable offensive coordinator came in, I think we'd be back in the top 5.

Plus we've played the hardest schedule in the nation in a year plagued with injuries

They are exceptionally fukked with one of (imo THE now that ron english is fired) coach in america, with a huge salary and a new extension, they have been shyt since ricki stanzi left and always pissed the bed with him. They went from underacheivers to trash and rewarded they guy for it. Theyre fukked.

You may as well put Maryland on here. We actually got better history than Iowa and also had 3 straight ten win seasons around that same time.
