NO. and this mindset is why mainstream r&b died years ago.
usher didnt make the music. jermain dupri, jam & lewis, etc made the music. usher didnt write or produce those records, and his voice sure as hell didnt carry those tracks.
usher was more of an entertainer. his strong point as dancing in videos and performing on stage......which is something that chis brown does better.
and chris may not be a strong vocalist now, but at least he was nice on the mic when he first hit the scene. there was never any point when you could say that about usher
it is a big deal if youre not killing it vocally.
otherwise, you have nothing to offer musically.
In fact, since I started keeping up with music in the Late 90's/Early 00's, I don't think there's a R&B/Pop singer on Chris Brown's level as a dancer (other than maybe Omarion).
