I don't listen to rap like that. Is he famous or hot now?

I been listening to him the last few days, I randomly ran into him on spotify and didn't think he was known at all. I was just listening to his song "for the stunt" at the gym a few hours ago. I like his singing songs more than his raps, but I've enjoyed a good amount of his music
