If it's guaranteed that he's going to be healthy for the whole season I'd probably go with Derrick Rose. Blake Griffin might be better though even if Rose is healthy. I certainly can't put Davis or Love when neither has seen a playoff series, and with AD most people who consider him the third best player are throwing in the potential caveat as well.

Chris Paul, Carmelo, Dwight, Westbrook, Curry, Aldridge, D.Wade/Bosh (depending on how they respond to the new responsibilities, they both have the talent if healthy), or Harden or any of the aforementioned all could potentially be considered third best next year depending on how their seasons go. Darkhorse scenario is Demarcus Cousins.

wade is supposed to be washed but was still the 4th highest scoring 2 guard in the league after harden, derozan and dragic. and shot a higher % than all of them.
all while being a 3rd option. barely 2 buckets away from being the league leader in scoring at the 2 spot.

Wade's game is better than Harden but so is 99% of the roster. His skill set outside of a good step back jumper only includes ref baiting. And technically he didn't show anyone, because a lot of people considered Harden the best 2 and questioned Wade all year long with him constantly sitting out.

And that FG% is misleading considering he sat out more games than all of them.
