Best crossover doesn't = best handle. Some of you are getting it twisted.

Best crossover - AI

Best handle- Zeke Thomas

Agree with the bolded, but.....

Iverson doesnt even have the best crossover. I'd put Tim Hardaway or even Kevin Johnson's crossover above AI.

Hell, has anybody even mentioned ROD STRICKLAND?

I can never put Jamal Crawford on the list because he carries the ball literally EVERY dribble he makes. I understand its the NBA and the vast majority of players carry, but I feel his carries are gratuitous, I don't think I have ever seen him dribble within the 3 pt. line without his hand going underneath the ball.

This might be some of the most ignant in game shyt I've ever seen. So beautiful. Right up there with the Isiah bounce pass alley oop. For this thread I voted for Isiah. Best mix of crazy handles while not turning it over.

this is a good point, and why its unfair to criticize older players handles. Players are allowed to palm the ball more now while in the old days they had to dribble with their hands facing the floor.

Philly
Rod Strickland, Kenny Anderson, Timmy, B Diddy, Kidd, Stockton, Pistol are all good choices, but I'm gonna go with Jason Williams. He had immense control of the ball at all times, no matter what he was doing...and for all of the outlandish ish he did with the ball, he was never really turnover prone. He was stupid-shot prone though.

I know this is a "best ball handler in NBA history thread" but Tyreke Evans' pure ballhandling ability is often overshadowed by the fact he can't shoot. As a pure ball handler, I rank him near the top in the league alongside the likes of Jamal Crawford:

Kyrie to young maybe after 5-10 yrs he can be mentioned with the greats.

These dudes in no order are the best ball handlers.

Pistol Pete= Godfather of ball handling.
Zeke= Never carried the ball and still made nikkaz look foolish.
Nash=Master of the live dribble.
AI= Goat @ changing direction/speed with the ball.
CP3= Has the best hands to ever dribble a basketball in the NBA
Tim Hardaway= Goat crossover

Honorable mentions:
Tony Parker (asterisk by his name cuz he carries the ball on his signature right to left cross over. He does it so fast that you need to replay it to see the carry)
Bob cousy
The Big O
