Ahhh, jimmy made several NFC ship games. They shipped his ass out because they want a QB who can actually win. So yes, every QB in that offense has been eating real good. Stacked offense and elite defense.
If SF knew how to draft and groom QBs, they would actually won something instead of being regular season champs and ringless since

We can deep dive this if you want but here's the most telling stat about Purdy vs. Jimmy G (who most people still consider a "solid" QB).
The Niners have scored 30+ points in 6 straight games. The Niners under Purdy are averaging 31 points per game for his career.
Jimmy G never got close to those numbers during his whole run.

Jimmy Garappolo threw the ball 7 times in an NFC title game. We basically had to protect him from himself.
Last season before he got hurt was Jimmy's first legit good season since he tore his ACL in 2018.

I'm a giants fan. I've watched every start Jones has made. He plays exactly the same as he did while he was Duke, it's just Daboll has installed better training wheels than the other guys.
It doesn't matter which starter you compare Jones to, the other qb is better. He's basically Tebow without Jesus that can occasionally throw a post. Tebow might be slightly better because Jones has the lowest football iq I've seen under center.
He reads the field like a kid in his 4th year of HS instead of year 5 in the NFL. No anticipation & is lost when defenses take away his pre snap read because he can't process post snap secondary rotations.
