Bulma. She didn't harp nearly as hard on Trunks about his academics as Chi-Chi did Gohan and Trunks STILL became one the smartest men on Earth. Chichi was an overzealous control freak. She did hold down her kids while Goku threw them in the bushes. But Bulma headed the most powerful company in the world while still having a good relationship with Trunks and Bra, not to mention dealing with Veggie tha Gawd. Yamcha thought he had it in the bag and was leaning on him playing Pro ball and being a fighter to lock her down. Once she saw so many strong fighters, he had no leverage.
