Who is the bigger coward - the purse snatcher, or the useless lump who stood there and watched it all happen?

In my opinion, it is the witness. The purse snatcher is a coward yes, but the witness is the bigger coward.

Assuming he is not suffering from some sort of injury that prevented him from getting physical with the guy, he has no excuse for not helping that woman.

You have to be a special flavor of coward, to just stand there with your heart pounding in your throat as an old Black lady gets her purse strong armed right in front of you.

I can list a plethora of reasons why the purse snatcher is a coward too, but if we are determining who is the BIGGER coward of the two, I’d have to give it to the witness.

The witness didn't "have to" help in that situation even though you can tell hes soft. If he jumped in maybe the robber wouldve felt the need for more force and take out a weapon.

Most thieves who are armed with a weapon choose higher level targets.

But a purse snatcher though? I’d feel very confident in him being UNarmed, and I would intervene. It’s a risk I’d take, in THIS situation.

The shock from being caught off guard buys a man 3 secs of allowed confusion, anything past 3 secs of inactivity is a decision you’ve made to be a b*tch.
