HHH in the late 90’s. I was a kid though, and I think it really was because I liked his style, and entrance music. I know Orton is the one I damn near stanned during my high school days. He always got shyt popping. Orton Punting Cokeboy before the rumble had me locked in. I thought he was going to be a marked man like Austin that one rumble. I was rooting for him heavy, and he won. Breh was O dog (lol O for Orton) from Menace basically. Plus he had his young savages Cody, and Ted with him.

Idk if he was a heel at the time because i actively checked out of wrestling but Hall of Pain Mark Henry ad libbing during his matches on Raw had me rooting for him.. I had my son who loved wrestling during that time to come get me when he wrestled

I didn’t like babyfaces like that growing up, I pretty much rooted for heels at all times. Only baby faces I liked was SteamGOAT and Warrior(RIP).

I liked some babyface tag teams like Hart Foundation, Rockers, LOD, Steiners and maybe others. But for the most part I rooted for bad guys as a lil kid. Most the times I rooted for a babyface it was because I became a fan while they were heel
