G Rap was my first thought

I'm saying. how could you leave out the guy that birthed the East Coast answer to West Coast gangsta rap? :why:

Executioner Style is my fav song from him. 456 >>>

no offense, but this thread is severely lacking a bunch of rappers

TBH I don't really listen to street rappers like that, I'm a fan of Mobb Deep, 50 and Cube, I know of Gucci Mane so I put him in so a south rapper would be in the poll.

Who should I have put Snoop? Jeezy?

:comeon: at you expecting me to know every rapper out there whose catalog is mostly aggressive content. I'm more into the Lupe's, Pac's, Kendrick's, J Cole's and Nas's of the world, but I do like a little ignorant music every now and then ::jawalrus:

lol, you prolly shouldn't of made this thread with a poll then. Just let nikkaz drop youtube links so you can be educated on some gangsta shyt.

Bomb First
Ambitionz Az a Ridah
Tradin' War Stories

Everything on Thug Life

Dude was a gangsta rapper. Hell, his gangsta image has been imitated by so many rappers.

Of course, not saying that he was only on that gangsta shyt. 2Pac was the only one that would really walk that line between socially concious rapper and rugged and raw gangsta rapper really well.

How could you have 50, that made Candy Shop/Amusement Park/Best friend along with his ignorant shyt, but not have Pac? :why:

In anycase, you're missing a ton of rappers in your list.

I never thought of Trading war stories as a street track, same goes for Ambitionz Az a Ridah, Pac is my favorite rapper but I honestly never thought of the man as a gangsta rapper, Pac music has MUCH more depth than 50's.

I honestly can't think of a outright ignorant shot em up type song in Pac's catalog, where's 50's has countless songs like that, does Pac have a song that's as ignorant as this?...

On this list I would pick Cube but its a lot of great gangsta rappers that should be in place of the other names on this list. Any gangster rapper list gotta have Eazy E on it.

Eazy E had the appearance. Ice Cube was the writer for the whole NWA. Their would be no Eazy without Cube.
