So artists you acknowledge are dope but you just aren't into their music?
Guess that would be J. Cole for me

Scarface. He’s dope, one of the GOAT’s, but i never really cared for him musically outside of a few songs.

Dont een come in here running ya mouths about my pick either @DropTopDoc @Lucky_Lefty :russ:

It’s another reason you best not cross that border sir

But i understand we all have some, your choice is your choice, a bit sacrilegious but it’s yours, i knew a nikka in college that didn’t like OutKast

Hmm … I feel like I avoid him because he makes a contrived effort to connect with the listener on this basis and it hasn’t felt genuine to me yet

Drake is to J Cole

As

Lebron James is to Sebastian Telfair

That ESPN magazine article that had Lebron on the cover when he was a high school player also had Sebastian Telfair featured

Once upon a time J. Cole and Drake were aligned like that as well
J cole is as good or better then drake
I can't imagine how you can possibly feel someone like Drake is genuine but J.Cole is not lmao

Damn fr breh lol?

Haven’t done my HW on Slick Rick (don’t see myself doing it anytime soon tbh) but Hey Young World is such a heartwarming and comforting song.

Prime example to counter when folks just spew Hip-Hop/Rap is pure evil.

Ok yeah thats a great Song

Just something about his voice that irritates me

rap resonates with the heart the least in the way santana is talking about

that beautiful heart centered feeling isn't the aim

you get more of that adrenaline wartime rush from good rap

1. Lil Wayne… after the original cash money broke up, he just sounded horrible to me

2. big daddy kane.. even though i like his first 2 LPs,, kane music really didn’t too much for me
