CP3 can't be considered the most overrated because his playoff failures are constantly mentioned.
I agree, i feel like hes underrated. He gets alot of hate on here. I think hes adapted well to how the Rockets play. Hes always played with alot of effort. Hes a great player, just not great enough to carry a team to the conference finals by himself. And the Clippers always needed a 3

I think his teammate Harden is overrated. I wonder how high he'll end up on the all time free throws made, all time free throws attempted, and turnover lists :francis:

It’s a 3 way tie btw Ingram, Tatum, and Jimmy Butler.

Jimmy Butler- for all the antics he pulled this season and all the talk....how many mvp trophies he got? how many titles he got? He acts as if he in the same conversation with AD, Durant, and Lebron. Jimmy is a good player, but he not elite. He not the type of player I’d make the cornerstone of my franchise.

Tatum- Tatum has been very good.....but analysts and some fans already put him in the hof. Let’s see how he does in a TIGHT playoff series where nothing is going right and the other team loads up on him.

Ingram- he seems like a great kid and a good teammate.....but I just don’t see the elite status that Magic n Luke see. It’s obvious to anybody with two working eyes that Kuzma should def be starting over him. They see Durant type of potential in him, but I don’t see it.

I remember when all that stuff first popped off with Jimmy and I was like “Who this nikka think he is?” Did he singlehandedly lead the Timberwolves to 3 titles I don’t know about or something?!
":krs: he beat the starters with bench players in practice!!!"

How many banners do they hang for that??

About Tatum, considering how deep Boston is, there won’t be many moments where teams just single him out especially if Kyrie and Hayward are healthy. That said, when he was one of the top scorers for the Celtics either Hortford last season, he did a pretty great job even when his back was against the wall.

You're still trying to run with that CP3/Harden best backcourt ever bullshyt?

:lolbron:

Apart from a couple of quarters across five games, CP3 was bad in that series: he shot under 40%* (*sans garbage points in G1), averaged considerbly less points than Durant, Harden and Steph (even Gordon performed better offensively), was ineffective on defense, and was the most inconsistent player. It's funny because prior to that 3rd quarter in G5, he was being crucified by everyone for playing horribly throughout the series; adding another layer to the perception of him being a career loser.
The fact that you continue to cite the Iggy injury as a way to discredit the Rockets is just appalling :picard:

Especially when you consider that the Rockets were already down an important rotation piece since Mbah-Moute’s shoulder injury rendered him unplayable for much of the playoffs. The Warriors had the two best players in the series and two of the best role players of all-time as their anchors, I understand the importance of Iggy but to use the injury excuse for the fifth most important player on an already suped up team is just desperate. Would you even argue that Iggy is as important to the Warriors as a healthy LMAM is to the Rockets? The Warriors were the more talented team (healthy Iggy or not) and they were down 3-2, would they have been down 3-2 if Iggy was healthy? Probably not.. but injuries happen and the Warriors were even more fortuitous than the Rockets in that regard. Give the Rockets, specifically Paul and Harden, their goddamn respect.

I wanted to name ben simmons then I remembered how highly rated CP3 is around the league and online. go on any sports forum like realgm, insidehoops, redditnba etc and most of these fools have CP3 over steph curry in their all time ranking and even rates him as the best point guard of his era for a player that has never made a single nba finals nevermind win a title:gucci:

Russell Westbrook. I appreciate his hustle every night but with his inefficient offense and inflated rebounding numbers he doesn’t really play like a top 5 point guard (which a lot of people put him in).
:gucci: basketball is more than player efficiency and numbers. Westbrook brings things to the floor no other guard in league can, he's not overrated.
