No one is topping that collectively this year.

1) IWGP and WWE Champ within the space of 18 months. Making a case for the GOAT career.

2) Matt Hardy has the gimmick of the year for me - because on the surface it's about the goofy accent, but everything around the storyline has really good continuity and a bunch of Easter eggs.

3) New Day managed to get their own cereal and it looks like they'll knock off Demolition's record.


4) :neckbeardjesus:out here getting discussed in Parliament.

5) Jericho has been amazing. I haven't even thought about making an absentee dad joke in weeks, when he's been onscreen. He really does seem to be the gateway to the main event scene. Either you're teaming with him or fighting against him, to get the office's approval. See: AJ and Owens.

6) I feel like Ospreay vs Ricochet should get acknowledged just because it opened up some interesting conversations about wrestling as a whole


7) I'll add Pentagon Dark because I don't need a broken arm
