Is there a southern progressive with reach? I honestly don’t think a California or NY/New England progressive can do well nationally. Need someone who can still connect with the south and middle of the country

It's too bad Barbara Lee never wanted any part of a leadership role, because she's been on the right side of almost every issue since she's been in office. She just doesnt seem to want the spot light

America isn't ready for a latino or female president let alone a progressive one at that. The best chance progressives have right now are Warren and in the future it would have to be a straight white male to be taken seriously enough by the rest of the country and swing voters.
