Who Killed Chivalry?

Even with a nearly bald head I've never had a problem with men being chivalrous. Now that's not to say every man I meet opens the door for for me or let's me go ahead of him but more often than not it happens It's not race specific either.

Everyone's experience is different though.

Acknowledgement is an end product. If I hold the door open for a man and he says "thanks" then why shouldnt a woman? Other than she's got a bad attitude.

You don't expend energy and not expect to get a form of payment. At work, someone pays you. At the gym you see results. If I let you in my lane in traffic, you wave.

Even a dog needs treats to continue to do expend his own energy.

Even a girl who wants a so called bad guy she still would like a guy to open a door for her and do those type of gestures. I believe it's more of the women who feel like they don't need a man rather than the type of woman that will string a man along. Either way men can rise above and still be gentle men.

Lets keep it all the way 100 the vast majority of people say thank you so why even speak on the few that don't? Have you opened the door for the same person person beaucoup times and they never said thanks? I could ride with that even though I wouldn't care but how you said it it seems moreso like this is different random women and in that case I can't agree with you.

I see men and women hold doors open for each other all the time. It's common curiosity and gender less.

Women choosing a "bad guy" hoping to change him into a "nice guy" while overlooking the already "good guy" is another entirely story.

Instead of questioning why black men act that way, you need to question who influences them.

Women do.

Game comes from women. It's true when they it starts in the household first.

The media and society.

That's my fault. I forgot I was replying in this thread, what I meant to do was reply in the thread you made recently. Even though my reply would fit very well in either so it's cool.

Never have I singled out and blamed black women in my post. I equally blamed both black men and black women. I'm all for calling out both genders and point out issues that need to get fixed.


Black men and women have been equally falling short in this land for quite some time now.

I'm all for the unity of the black family, not bigging up one sex and leaving the other falling "short".

Ok well now your post makes sense. Yes both sexes do fall short. I can't disagree on that.
