Boulder PD fumbled early on, and targeted the Ramseys', who were never guilty. Read up on the facts of the case, and you'll realize the parents could not, and would not have done this, and there is no grounds for those theories, not based in absurdist conspiracy theories.

A pedophile who had seen the girl and has sicko intentions
He scopes the house when it was opened to the public for Christmas tour
creates a way to get in later.. leaves a window unlocked
Night before abduction, he waits for Ramsey's to go to dinner party
Let himself in.. and waits..
He looks around, find records of bonus, so write a kooky ransom note for $212k to cloud things
Take a long time writing and revising..
Because he has hours to kill
Ramsey's finally get home, settle, lock up, go to bed
Intruder waits a bit and snatches girl
Does something to knock her out
Start making his planned escape
But girl wakes up
intruder panics and strangles her
Either because she was gonna scream or did something to crack up his pedo fantasy world
Now his scheme is blown up
So he just hides the body and bolts out of there

I saw a good documentary a long time ago. There were a couple workmen in the neighborhood breaking into houses and trying to molest kids. They molested another girl but didn't kill her. One guy's ex-GF busted him naked in bed with her toddler. One of ended up dead of a "suicide" from a bullet through his ribcage. Boulder PD completely fukked up the case. This was during the CourTV era, so once cops latched onto a "suspect," they were guilty regardless. Lots of lies in the case too about no evidence of a breakin.
That could have been complete BS I saw, but none of the other theories make a lot of sense. When you start talkign crazy conspiracies with lots of people, someone is going to talk.

I think I caught part one of this a few nights ago. It basically screamed "the mom did it". The ransom note, the pineapples, angry about the bed wetting, etc. She dead so we may never know unless the husband says something on his death bed.

Any deviation of my instructions will result in the immediate execution of your daughter. You will also be denied her remains for proper burial. The two gentlemen watching over your daughter do notparticularly like you so I advise you not to provoke them. Speaking to anyone about your situation, such as Police, F.B.I., etc., will result in your daughter being beheaded. If we catch you talking to a stray dog, she dies.
