I saw this tagged to some people I know that do this stuff on FB.

There are a million ways to become your own boss....i just hate how folks act like its only one way to get there, especially if they dont understand your future plans. Funny thing is there are people who have a boss who are filthy rich. And God has blessed many people of different professions..not just folks in these marketing things.

I will be driving a free BMW by the end of this year...I believe it, have claimed it and therefore God will Bless me with it!! I will help as many as I can start their own business and fire their boss this year in 2012 so that they can live in abundance as well!

A long time ago I unfriended everyone who's profile was linked to fake Jordan advertisements. Needless to say, I don't have ANY posts about this FiveLinx nonsense on my News Feed.

lol. folks are just dumb ass hell. i dont know how cats can have a flyer with some dudes in dreadlocks and expect to be taken seriously.

although i knew from the getgo this was some bs it wasn't until at the end, when they introduced how much YOU have to pay to participate that i went like oh hell no. yall can kiss my ass with that bs. me pay to be part of this??

and then they tried to put u on a guilt trip. "if you determine this isn't for you, thats alright. but at least help the person that brought you here" yeah ok. fucck outta here with that.

I have a former grad school classmate who is doing this shyt full time. He claims he is a SVP and the company has leased him a BMW. I think he signed up a bunch of poor uneducated people from his church and family and sold them pipe dreams.

He claims he is making all this money, but every time i turn around he is posting something on facebook about a 5linx event or hosting an information session. Seems like he works longer hours doing this, than he was at his old job.

And it's always black folks getting caught up with this 5linx BS.

But that's every salesmen pitch.. from a car salesman to a religious freak to any kind of salesman: "Aren't you fed up with __(insert problem)__, why not make a change, blah blah blah".

I get what you're saying but dread locks isn't something I'd use as an indication of what isn't professional.
I have a cousin who graduated magnum cum laude and got his doctorate degree
yet he has dreads, sags and listens to Hip Hop

I do however agree these companies are all bullsh1t.
Have some friends who fell into the trap......

Out here in cali we got ACN amd a few others.

In the meeting everyone who came up to speak kept shytting on large corporations. But then kept bragging how they are an industry leader

Then the speakers keep saying they are one promotion away from retirement ( ). But then go on to preach about how they are theor own boss no one owns them like if you worked at a regular job... But if you were your own boss why would you be one promotion from retirement shyt dont even make sense. They say be your own boss and sell it that way. But you the whole scheme is getting people to work for you

Exactly I got a brother with dreads who graduated magna or summa (cant remember which one) from undergrad and got a full ride to Purdue in some computer science/cyber security field to get his doctorate as well. Is well traveled and all. Da nikka dont sag tho neither does he really listen to hiphop (only listens to drake and ludacris and maybe a couple other nikkas)

Can't always judge a book by it's cover, because
I'm sure on the street most dudes wouldn't think my cousin has
a doctorate or that he was magnum cum laude.
