If you exclude Cena, the closest you might get to a household name would be Undertaker or Kane. But they'd still be well behind the likes of Hogan, Austin, Rock and Andre to non-wrestling fans.

Cena gets no credit for two Wrestlemanias in which he was in the main event? I know you're gonna give credit to Trump for WM 23. Who gets it for WM 28? Maria Menounos?

Who gets it for WM 28? The guy who was named the biggest draw of 2012 for doing just 7 weeks of shows. Just like he did the previous year when it was Cena and Miz in the main event. Are you walking around here thinking that Cena vs Miz outdrew Undertaker the year before? Stop being silly.

If John Cena isn't a big star/draw then why would the Rock come out of hiatus to face him on the biggest stage twice?

The Rock was coming back no matter what. That was in the work back in 2009. Cena just was just the top guy and was fan requested for a time. When it became a Cena jack off party to promote the match, no one wanted to see it again yet Rock still got it over a million this year with just a marginal amount of appearances. Proving once again that is without peer, he's untouchable, and the greatest of all time. Getting fans to buy PPVs when he's against the most reviled top face of the generation.

I know. But when he came back? What happened? Cena was opening the show rapping..Rock was main eventing. Rock pushed the Kliq back..pushed Undertaker..pushed Lesnar back..pushed Punk back...pushed Cena back...he was maineventing and had Cena as his personal jobber for nearly 3 years. Cena was the WWE pushed top guy but the Rock was, as usual, why any of the events they were at were successful. These days..they can't even sell out Raw..Rock came back and had Raw, Smackdown, and the next two PPVs he wasn't even apart of selling out in record time. Fans knew he was at WM 29 and it was the biggest first day WM ticket sales ever.

Cena? Can this guy even sell out NY anymore? No one knows. He was getting Foley booed out in Boston. No one has even heard of no shyt like that. But that show sold out because it was under the banner of "Raw Gets ROCKED".

Survivor Series 2011 blew away Survivor Series 2010...blew away Royal Rumble 2012 too. And if anything Cena being added to that event took away from what would of been a easily successful Survivor Series. No one wanted to see Rock and Cena team up..that's why Cena got nearly "fukk YOU" chants and the Rock was treated like a god again.
