I just remembered. One of my best friends growing up is rumored to have killed a guy in the projects of my hometown in the past few years. Grew up on the same street. His mother was actually murdered when we were kids.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
If any of you saw the Gangland episode of the Brooklyn Crips, there's a segment where they talk about a group of guys that murdered a kid over his iPod. I played football with one of them.

i remember this story. On Linden Blvd right? That kid was the brother of a girl who was part of a church choir connected to us. Remember that story like it was yesterday

I knew a couple. One of them was a legit scumbag that engaged in all kinds of shyt. He kidnapped someone's mamma and hid her in an abandoned warehouse in Jersey back in late 1999. She dehydrated because she didn't drink in almost 2 days, on top of her suffering a panic attack. Police found her and put her in the emergency room. Turned out that the woman he kidnapped, was some other drug dealer's moms and the incident was over $3500 he owed. He was sent to jail for 3 years, came out in late 2002. He still did dirt and ran with bloods. He still was beefing with mad people and popped someone in the woods and left that body near a pond. Police came in and arrested him in his car. He was supposed to do 25 to life, but he did 9 upstate and came out in 2012 due to a loophole. He Still couldnt leave that criminal shyt behind, and got caught up in more drama. He was gonna murk another dude, but someone snitched and caught him in a motel room. He currently doing 20 to life. The crazy thing about it was, all the broads were on him because that jailbird shyt was popular in the late 90s and early 00s. If you werent a killer or something that resembled anything that was in the streets back then, a lot of people overlooked you. Crazy that those same broads were giving him money and he was driving random whips every day to school. He had it made, but was addicted to drama and clapping/ stomping out people.

Another dude, he was kinda like the comedian class clown. Cats roasted him cause he was super light skinned with box braids, but his clap back was vicious. :whew: I kinda was an associate with his crew, hanged out in the lunch tables n all hearing him clown out his life with his crew. Typical shyt in a majority black High School. They stayed laughing every fukking day and not taking anything serious. This happened when I was in the end of the 11th grade when he pulled out a 45 in a deep corner during lunch period when noise is everywhere. He and his whole crew went into a corner and no one laughed. It was the oddest thing to hear that whole crew in silence when he went dark and said "I'm gonna clap that bytch ass nikka. That muthafukka ain't gonna be around much longer" in a :demonic: tone that legit creeped me out. I never heard that comedy breh serious in anything, not even on Regents state exams, but he flipped his whole demeanor and his crew was :whoa: :merchant: :lupe: in silence. Later that month after regents, he took a trip down south and clapped his step father the way back from his family reunion. shyt still spooked me out to this day the demons that these funny dudes be hiding.

Related to three. One is now deceased in his upper 30’s. One of the coolest, charismatic people you could know. He didn’t let much slide.

A big cousin accidentally hit a lady who was trying to commit suicide. It bothered him a lot but he seemed to recover over time. I hope he’s still doing well.

went to school with one he killed himself shortly after shooting someone to death.

Worked with a lot of them. Only personally knew three that killed someone outside of their professional lives. One killed two college students at random (prison), another killed his wife (prison), one of my NCO’s killed a man who attacked him at a rest stop.

Some of the ones that killed for work were pretty random, as far as how it affected them. Some became bothered in the long run, considering the circumstance. Others didn’t really dwell on it. The ones who joined thinking they would be all heroic and kill everything, constantly dehumanized the locals, hoping shyt happened while we were out, Uber patriotic, etc. rarely ever killed anyone and if they did it really fukked with them afterwards.

The ones who were least affected by it seemed to be laid back in every aspect of their personality.

People waking me up during downtime to talk about it really taught me that our minds vary so much that I wonder if there is such a thing as a “normal person”. You never know what’s hiding behind a person’s face.

Edit: I forgot about some brothers that moved up from NO after Katrina. Way older than us and real sketchy dudes that were constantly robbing people across the county line. Type of people that snort coke then dope later and smoke meth form time to time. They could seem cool at times but they’re the ripe of people that make the hair on your neck stand up if you were in front of the same building but had your back turned. They did a lot of people, in Dekalb county, dirty that year that I knew them. One was killed after beating on his lady. The remaining brother and his wife left after that.

Several. One dude beat another man to death with a manhole cover, one killed some guy with a baseball bat and one was a bytch and strangled some old lady when he broke into her appartment.

These are only the confirmed and convicted cases, there were a couple of other goons that probably had bodies but never got caught.

When I was 14, a kid a couple of years older than me was snatched and got hung from a tree the night before mothers day :picard: supposedly to send a message to his older brother, who owed money to some people. It never really came out who did it, but there is a good chance the killer was from the neighborhood.

From the old neighbourhood I grew up with a few and knew a few that were older than us.

When I was 13 guy from my class stabbed and killed one of our friends who was 15 over radio parts..we were at that age where we built, repaired or tried to modify electronics without training. No Internet then too. guy was caught trying to skip town on foot.. served 15 years.

After a card game some older dudes, I think I was 14 at the time and these nikkas were like 20- 25, got into an argument they fought and then after the fight..dude that lost the fight with two of his brothers went to other dude house and murked him in front of his baby mama, his sisters and parents. Them nikkas got arrested, two of them never charged the one charged got bail..was always wilding while on bail..being drunk and crazy but people were not fukkin with him anymore..left the country before trial..got murdered during a robbery

Dude who got murked in front of his family..his older brother murked another nikka..turns out the other nikka had family who was police...got arrest on some bullshyt charges (never arrested for the murder) like inciting riots after a football game...family received the dead body less than 48 hours of his arrest.

As a grown men through work I've met former child soldiers (unrepairable damage) and convicted criminals some who have been in the system for decades and being introduced back into society...shyt is different when you around these people no matter how friendly they are.

Pops brought me around a few killers back in the day... In the US it's hard to cover up a body but in 3rd world countries....boy

This, this, this! An auntie killed my uncle delaying getting him to hospital during an asthma attack. Later she SET A DOMESTIC WORKER ON FIRE.
I know for sure at least 4 Kikuyu women who killed their husbands.
I've got friends who've murked strictly over money. One dude had a real estate agent die slow after he was conned of 600k USD. He was tired to a chair and piers and knives were involved. The 3 killers were paid 5k USD IIRC.
It's actually quite common on Nairobi nowadays. Wherever lawyers, estate agents or inheritance beneficiaries die its often the case.

Edit: a fool lost my money in a deal which I could've forgiven til he talked ishyt which is all I'll say.

Kid from my high school killed another kid somewhere between 9th and 10th grade. Also my cousin was shot and shot back in self defense. They both died.

There’s no statute of limitations on murder, fyi. Doing a little too much talking, some of y’all, on a board frequented by “visitors”
