Nobody watches NXT like that. It prolly doesnt do more than 200k in viewership MAX and thats being generous. We watch it because we're wrestleheads, but all of that is irrelevant in terms of moving up. Adam Rose was there from FCW days, Ascension as well, Bo too... and they still didn't connect. NXT is a hardcore product... it would be like comparing Drake to Run The Jewels... RTJ is popular, but they are still underground. They dont release numbers but...

Those guys can learn on the main roster... they're still doing dates every night, getting reps in the ring, working on their entrances etc. I don't think it's too soon for any of them. Because they weren't going to do shyt with them anyway.

Mojo doesnt suck, he will probably end up being one of the more over acts out of the new class of recruits.

He's ready made for the PG era.

Just cause he didn't wrestle in Japan and does planchas and fake mat wrestling doesn't mean he's trash. Him and No Way Jose will have popularity with casuals. It's common sense.
Mojo's not even over in NXT so I don't know how he's gonna be top on SD without having the ability to put on good matches. Plus Finn and Alpha got huge pops last night and Enzo & Cass were over as soon as they came in. So it does translate, you just actually have to be good. Bo, Adam Rose, and The Ascension without Bram aren't really what most people would consider top talent. Doesn't have anything to do with wrestling in Japan.

He'sbeen real good in the ring this year and fans been halfway cheering him on the shows Ive watched.

No they haven't. :pachaha: What do you mean "halfway"? Any reaction he gets from the crowd when his music hits is negligible.

Bo was very over in NXT tho...

Finn and AA did get good pops, still doesnt convince me that everyone watches NXT. It's a still a niche product. It has very little bearing on what you do when your called up.

Tyler Breeze was over as hell in NXT... that meant fukk all when he got called up and got one pop and a bunch of Fandango chants after.

no offense, but you don't have access to whatever numbers Vince/execs have access to.
There's a reason he's keeping him around with an absurd salary and reduced schedule and basically telling Vince what to do

He's bringing in more than you or I, the general public knows. Otherwise, he'd be gone long time ago.

Actually we all do. WWE is a public traded company and has to publish all their financial numbers. Brock hasn't shown to be a major difference in anything he's been involved with since his return, not even when they were running PPVs without the Network. Honestly, he might be a difference maker for them but they don't use him enough to see those kind of results. What we do know though is that he doesn't draw big house show numbers because he has had like 4 of those since he return, he doesn't move any earth shattering merch numbers, WWE has pretty much dropped from the PPV business so he can't be a real factor there and Network subs doesn't go significantly up when he's on or down when he's out.

Brock is a big asset to have and a huge MMA draw. But to WWE, he isn't a "top draw", there's absolutely nothing that shows he's one. And he's not used enough to even attempt to show if can make a difference. What he does have is perception and star power, that's something that Vince craves, specially if it gives WWE any sort of mainstream exposure. Now, is that worth that monster contract? If you ask me, no it's not. But it's not my money and as a fan of wrestling I prefer having Brock around 3 times a year than not have him so :manny:

I said draws breh :wtf:

I think Ibushi is big enough of a name to replace Nakamura in the context of NXT. Same Roode with Joe. We gotta remember NXT still runs smalls venues and I don't see the 300-800 people that go to shows drop significantly if that kind of change is made. What draws the most for NXT is the brand and the "indy feel" the roster has, as long as they keep putting good workers that are known to their fan base they are gonna be fine.

NXT is broadcasted on the Network, Hulu, and TV all over the world. It's not huge but alot of people watch it or else they wouldn't be selling out shows and doing good merch like they are right now. And you keep bringing up these average talents like Bo like everyone called up from NXT that got a chant in Orlando is over when I'm saying the top guys that do come up have established fan bases that are ready to buy their merch and see them work. Nobody was waiting to spend money on Bo or Breeze or Adam Rose. But people like Sasha, Enzo & Cass, Finn, Bayley, AA, and even Paige kinda established their bases in NXT and it will or has translated to the main roster. Guys like Mojo, Corbin, and Crews didn't do that so now they're floundering with hope that a brand split will get them more tv time when that has never been proven to be just the answer.

Bray can be champion if they actually let him get some PPV wins and stop fukking up his momentum when he has it.

Styles/Cena/Orton/Dean obviously

Del Rio/Ziggler due to being former champs, but I loathe Del Rio's character, and Ziggler needs to be revamped

Bray with solid booking/backing

Miz with a flip of a switch

Corbin if they have a lovefest, which I'm sure will be in the next 2 years

I don't want Kane anywhere near a title in 2016

did you not READ there's ONE set of belts?

Orton is NOT becoming champ on a part-time schedule......Cena isn't becoming champ over Reigns, Rollins or even Dean. Cena doesn't need the belt.
Where did you read that one belt shyt at?

Bray doesn't have it IN the ring. IMO.

Those solo matches he had a couple years ago with Cena/Ambrose/Taker were his big shot. But he's just not that good in the ring.

Maybe he's improved by now, but I don't know.

Lots of guys have held the title and haven't been technicians in the ring. He's far from the worst so that should be one of the last reasons why he doesn't hold a world title.

Just give AJ the belt and let him run shyt as a face
I feel you. They need him as a heel though right now. Ambrose and Cena ain't turning. Who knows about orton.

At least we'll get to see Styles carry Ambrose to a couple great matches lol
