While we talking about snoop does anybody has the advance edition of Tha Last Meal, that was my shyt back in the day, Tha last meal would have been a classic hands down if Suge didnt leak the album, and the great songs replaced the filler that the original release had

Here is the tracklisting from my cracked up cd case

1. "Blaze It Up"
2. "Everywhere I Go"
3. "So Heavy On My Mind" (feat. Big Chan & Kokane)
4. "Hot Pursuit" (feat. Goldie Loc)
5. "Y'all Gone Miss Me" (feat. Kokane)
6. "When I Wake Up" (feat. Goldie Loc)
7. "Pump Your Brakez (You Hoez)" (feat. Kokane)
8. "West Coast Still Gone Flow" (feat. Kurupt)
9. "Luv You"
10. "Father's Day" (feat. Xzibit & Kokane)
11. "Inside Of You"
12. "Money Weak"
13. "Pop Ya Collar" (feat. Kokane)

BONUS TRACKS:

14. "U Can't Out Pimp A Pimp"
15. "No Bacctraccin" (feat. George Clinton) (Remastered by Crip-Hop)

X was signed to Loud records homie, same label as Mobb Deep, Pun, Wu, etc.

So he never actually signed with Interscope/Aftermath?

My bad then. But he was working with Dre and them and that was his big break at the time. That's what I'm tryina say, whether or not he was signed to Dre, he was f*cking with the whole crew.

I never heard the unleaked version u just posted but the actual album that was released had a lot of great tracks I don't see in that list so I'm guessing I will always liked the released version of Tha Last Meal better.

And yes, My Heat Goes Boom is another of the great tracks on Top Dogg

Dre produced 3 classic tracks off No Limit Top Dogg.

"Buck 'Em" with Sticky Fingaz which is underrated, "bytch Please" and "Just Dippin'".

And Xzibit never signed with Dre.

yea it was never official but Dre executive produced Restless and X was basically an unofficial Aftermath artist if you look at all his collabs (B Please 1 and 2, Chronic 2001, all the Em collabs, Dre production on his albums)

It was looking like he was about to finally sign til 50 came thru in 03 and crushed the buildings

Xzibit had contractual obligations, when he was free he decided against signing with Dre for whatever reason, then Snoop and Suge ended his career

These were all the great tracks that weren't mentioned in the list of the unreleased version u posted:

Hennessey and Buddah
True Lies
Wrong Idea
Go Away
Set It Off
Stacey Adams
Lay Low
Bring It On

If they put those in and got rid of the weaker ones to be replaced by the ones u posted it woulda been a crazy album.

Snoop Dogg-The Last Meal Review(Throwback) | Escobar300's Blog

"due to Death Row’s leaking Snoop’s album weeks in advance. Songs which featured tracks such Cant Out Mack a Mack ,BackTraccin, When I Wake Up The and appearances from Warren, Xzibit(whom were on the original songs) are absent. But Snoop shrugs the haters off like a true mack as he addresses Record Label politics on my personal favorite track I Can’t Swim. This is Snoop Dogg at his sharpest lyrically and remains as one of his most underrated tracks to date.

Even though the absence of these songs threw off what could have been a possible classic album. He still was able to put out some nice cuts that substituted it"

And thats a opinion not from me, I'm telling you the tracks that were left off were :wow: , shyt is pissing off that I can't find the album now

:whoa:

Let's not get too carried away

Doggystyle was alright when I was 13 or 14, I can't rock with the dikk n balls references truly cringe worthy shyt, Snoop was on his grown man during the last meal period, he was hungry and had everything to prove it definitely would have been able to swing hand and hand with that album in it's own right, and look above to the article I posted, I'm not the only one who believed so

Put Heavy on my mind on and replace I cant swim, and take Hot pursuit and replace that with that cash money knock off type shyt that was on the official release and the album would already be 5x better
