Bloodborne combat is good, but I don't get how y'all pretending like its some all time great action game combat. In reality the controls are kinda clunky, the A.I. is dumb, the camera is kinda wonky, and the combat is very repetitive.
You fight every enemy the same. Dodge, wait for an opening, swing, rest, repeat. Literally every fight goes this way. It is fun and intense and I absolutely love bloodborne and the souls series as a whole, but its always been in despite of those problems.
And the witcher combat has plenty of problems of its own, some the same as bloodborne, others worse. But as I've played for a while and leveled up my character things have started to open up and the fights are getting more hectic and using the powers and equipment correctly is very engaging. I've also learned to quit fighting with the camera. I pretty much leave it alone during a fight and just attack the enemies in whatever direction they are in, instead of always trying to swing the camera behind me.
I really like both games, but the witcher just has so much more going for itself
