We are honestly running out of options without having to re book people. Who from the 2000’s era at this point can do it without being a second banana to another artist? I think it’ll be headlined by some white act but I’m not sure who. Can’t see too many more rappers getting it outside of like maybe Nelly or something(has he done one yet?) I’d love to see some older bands get love like the Gap Band and shyt. We had to sit through groups like The Who. Let these old black bands get some shine too. They’ll never let Master P up there unless he gets like a 20 second spot in someone else’s show.
Nelly would be a good choice lowkey. :jbhmm:
I think another lowkey choice could be Missy.

I don't watch football, but if Taylor Swift perform during the halftime show, I will watch the halftime show for her.

But ultimately, I would like fo see some rock and metal bands perform.

Pantera
Slipknot
Ice Nine Kills
Motionless in White
Tool
Green Day
Rob Zombie
etc.

Pantera would go hard, I remember they used to play their shyt in those Dragon Ball Z movies :banderas:

Green Day is more realistic bc they got 20 to 30 years worth of hits

Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Mariah Carey, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Fugees (reunion).

There's a few others too...

Janet Jackson...I think the NFL would welcome her back in this climate especially now with them appealing to more Black and Latino fans, I doubt anyone cares about what happened over two decades ago.

I doubt the NFL will book anymore white country singers or rock stars for the foreseeable future. They've already performed more halftime shows than any other genre when looking back to halftime shows of the late 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Wasn't it just marching bands back then?
