"American Way" was just a mess of a song with the lyrics being the best thing about it. "Atomic Dog" is a goldmine of a song to sample to have it used the way it was used on "American Way".

I don’t mind the song, get a better singer to sing the hook & Kelis verse…it becomes better.

I actually fukk with SD, I can see why people didn’t fukk with it, did have its filler & you can tell Nas was listening to a lot of 80’s & early 90’s rap when recording by some of the beats he was choosing.
