As far as who the bigger simp is...probably Fry. Krillin did a little simping during the Android Saga (destroying that remote that could shut her down) but Fry pretty much spent the first six seasons simping Leela. Even when she was dating other dudes.

At least 18 wasn't actually dating anybody else or going out of her way to shyt on Krillin. Nor did she actually try to kill Goku. And he probably hit sooner than Fry did.

EVERYONE stayed acting dumb in the Android/Cell saga

Bulma bringing her baby to see the androids

Yamcha went to warn everyone about that 19 and 20 absorb energy, dude never got around to telling them anything :yamcha:

if Tien have helped out against Cell in his first form, him and Piccolo could have thrown him in the bushes right there

17 didn't try to escape from cell because he thought he was running the streets

Vegeta could have murked cell in his second form, but he let Cell absorb 18 just so he could have a good fight
Dude was straight up Eli Porter status in this saga, which was a shame because he was about that life on Namek

Trunks was too to stop Vegeta when he had the chance

Bulma never told 16 that she took the bomb out of his body

Goku throwing Cell senzu beans in the middle of the fight trying to keep things "fair" even though dude is trying to blow up the planet

Gohan got too arrogant with them SSJ2 powers and didn't throw Cell in the bushes when he had the chance. Dude wound up getting Goku and Trunks murked

Goku taking 20 years to say his goodbyes when he could have teleported, grabbed King Kai, and got out





Krillin was legit in the OG Dragonball, and he was actually that dude in the Saiyan Saga. it wasn't until after Frieza when he started falling off (and let's be real, pretty much everybody except Goku eventually fell off)
It's kinda hard to only fault Krillin when EVERYONE in that saga

The writing was just overall by that point. The Saiyan/Frieza sagas were way better, brehs


EDIT: even Piccolo was kinda losing in this arc. When him and Tien charged the Androids after they knocked out Super Saiyan Trunks in one hit,
like that was gonna do something.

Dude gets OWNED by damn near every villian in DBZ, I can't even remember all the times he got murked and had to be wished back. Then he falls for a fukkin Android (not robot) who was previously ready to destroy the world and shyt with her brother
