Hakeem was more skilled in the sense that he was better with his back to the basket than Robinson was (see Karl Malone's defense on Robinson when they met in the '94 playoffs). Nothing against Robinson; Hakeem was just a cut above. Robinson was probably as good if not a bit better off of pick-and-rolls and facing up and working his way toward the basket or shooting jumpers, but Hakeem's mixture of strength (excellent at getting position), variety, and footwork in the post is superior to Robinson's.
