Man, I'm surprised we didn't bump into each other. The couple times I was at Bassline was basically the same era. The Roc was winding down and Just was working on Saigon's album. Little Brother was getting The Minstrel Show mixed by Young Guru. It was that general time frame.

You jogged my memory that Just bought it as a lot of the Rocafella traffic was winding down.

Word, It was a weird time. You started seeing the Roc artists less and less in there.

And then when Jay sold it, the whole scene changed and the studio turned into Just's label HQ's, basically. Which was dope too.
