So many Niners and Giants. I definitely remember the Roger Craig thing. Craig managed the Giants to a WS appearance when the Niners were in the middle of their repeat and the other Craig had been OPOY earlier.

Most of these were really good players (and a manager). The NFL Kevin Mitchell (RIP) is the only one that wasn’t an All-Star/Pro Bowler. The Giants Mitchell was even NL MVP.
