That season Donyell started 49 games so he shouldn't have been in the running anyway as a candidate. Aaron was a deserving choice that year. He was their second leading scorer and he handled the ball a lot for them. He was a very big part of them having such a great season that year.

But yeah Mckie was a solid 6th man. He avg 11/5/4 and he was a very good defensive player. A.I didn't play on a garbage team, he played on a team that was centered around defense.
