Who will be the first "main event" GOP candidate to drop out?

Who do you see dropping out first?

I think Fiorina will try to stick around for at least a couple primaries to try and keep herself positioned as a viable VP option for whoever gets the nomination. I think she is banking on somebody thinking she would be useful if Hillary gets the Dem nom.

Idk breh, I can't imagine she actually wants to be Vice President or president for that matter.

I think she is desperate for some sort of political power. That is why she ran for the Senate and now why she is throwing her hat into the Presidential ring. SO I am anticipating her next move, since she has no shot at getting the GOP nom, is to try and make herself a serious option for VP.
And when no one picks her I bet she'll try to run for President again in 2020.

What is she doing with her life anyway?

Without checking, I'd guess she sits on some corporate boards or consults. She's very rich iirc. The second wealthiest person running.

Ehhh I just can't imagine someone like that actually wanting to be president. Even the senate run looks more like a way to get her name out there when you consider she ran against an incumbent in California

I would buy that being her ultimate goal if she did anything with the Senate run but after taking that L she wasn't doing the things that people like Palin and Herman Cain were doing where they parlayed it into analyst gigs on Fox and their own radio shows.
I think the crazy old bat really wants to be a political heavyweight.

Well she doesn't need the money...

It is interesting.

No husband in sight and perhaps childless? Idk much about her.

Edit: apparently she is married and has two adopted daughters. Haven't seen any of them mentioned or on tv.

This is a good point that I hadn't thought of, you could very well be right here.

So it looks like Paul is officially out. :heh:

Who got next? We know for sure that Trump, Cruz, and Rubio are going to stay. I'd guess Bush will stick around for a while longer just because he has money. Carson got 4th so he might stay in it for a minute as well.

So that leaves...Kaisch, Fiorina (at least I think she's still running) and Christie. I'm betting Fiorina drops out soon. Christie seems to love hearing himself talk so I could see him staying in for a minute despite how pointless it is.

i have the hardest time understanding fiorina and santorum... both lost senate races so they decide to run for president..?. shouldn't being able to win a lower office (granted santorum did win a senate term before getting voted out) be a prerequisite for trying to run for a higher office?....

I think Christie may be the first one because he has nothing to campaign on right now. At least Rand can yell about Syria for the next year. Christie's angle was blasting hillary and it looks like fiorina has that locked up long term.

Damn it, I guess Christie is gonna yell about Clinton some more
