What annoys me is the premise that soldiers keep us safe. Nukes keep us safe. Look at Kim Jong. Dude does what he wants and aint nobody tryin to fukk w/ him, why? Its not his army.

The way our society deifies cops and soldiers is why cops act like azzholes here and soldiers act like azzholes over there.
nobody is trying to do anything to North Korea cuz they are irrelevant.

they are the equivalent of the kid in the back of class looking for attention by being loud and obnoxious. once they don't get the attention they quite down for a bit. thenthey act up again. at the end of the day they don't do shyt. and if something ever did happen they would get stomped to Bolivia.

As for soldiers....they represent the military. which does in effect keep us all safe. no one is attacking us why?? because the military. that's why they have to take cheap shots like they do.

We have the best missile technology and missile defense in the world. That keeps us safe. Aint nobody semding troops to real countries w/ real armies. Real Wars will be fought thru the air and thru a computer.

Go tell South Korea and Japan North Korea is irrelevant :beli:

Soldiers are pawns of politicians.

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
About 11% of the adult homeless population are veterans.

Roughly 45% of all homeless veterans are African American or Hispanic, despite only accounting for 10.4% and 3.4% of the U.S. veteran population, respectively.

Homeless veterans are younger on average than the total veteran population. Approximately 9% are between the ages of 18 and 30, and 41% are between the ages of 31 and 50. Conversely, only 5% of all veterans are between the ages of 18 and 30, and less than 23% are between 31 and 50.

America’s homeless veterans have served in World War II, the Korean War, Cold War, Vietnam War, Grenada, Panama, Lebanon, Persian Gulf War, Afghanistan and Iraq (OEF/OIF), and the military’s anti-drug cultivation efforts in South America. Nearly half of homeless veterans served during the Vietnam era. Two-thirds served our country for at least three years, and one-third were stationed in a war zone.

About 1.4 million other veterans, meanwhile, are considered at risk of homelessness due to poverty, lack of support networks, and dismal living conditions in overcrowded or substandard housing.

How many homeless veterans are there?

Although flawless counts are impossible to come by – the transient nature of homeless populations presents a major difficulty – the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) estimatesthat 39,471 veterans are homeless on any given night.

Approximately 12,700 veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation New Dawn (OND) were homeless in 2010. The number of young homeless veterans is increasing, but only constitutes 8.8% of the overall homeless veteran population.

TYRONE GA!
the problem is going to be that ppl didnt hear his full statement.

So they're gonna be saying, "how could he disrespect the military, soldiers, etc" When he said that's not apart of his intent.

These ppl couldn't be anymore mad if he set off a bomb. And that says alot.

If a rich half white dude, who was raised by 2 white parents in the burbs can see (and acknowledge) the issues black folks are facing, it should be easy for everyone to see acknowledge those same issues. But it doesn't happen like that.

And why does money even matter if what dude is standing up for is legit?

through the air and through the computer....cool. so who will be operating that?
who's flying the planes and manning the computers?
who's handling all the intel and logistics?
who's doing all the training?

yes, the military are pawns of politicians. but they are still peoples brothers, sisters, husband and father. and as one of the largest employers in the country everyone knows, or is related to someone that has served or is serving. and ppl take it as a slight to them when you shyt on vets or the service.

The money is releveant because he claims Amerikkka is bad for black people...How can a man making millions of dollars to sit on his ass and carry a clipboard say that? Where else other than America is that even possible?

You have millions of people is Africa being butchered and starving to death...But here is half breed Collin talking about how bad he has it in Amerikkka...

Clearly America isn't all that bad for Collin Kaepernik...That doesn't mean his message is wrong because this country is not fair to us... it just means his message would resonate better if stated by someone who has actually experienced being black in America...

But as a black vet, :pacspit:the National Anthem. Shoot, anyone who has been through BMT knows (or at least should) that the Star Spangled Banner wasn't even our anthem until the 20th century. Hail Columbia was the defacto anthem. Considering the fact that it was written by an anti abolitionist (@the 3rd stanza) during the War of 1812, which isn't really taught in school for good reason (makes America look real suspect), taken from the melody of an English drink song, I care little about it.

But let the Air Force Song come on.....:obama::salute:
