This pretty much my thoughts. Conway been stepping up this year and especially on long to a god. If he actually starts dropping what he’s been previewing on IG I’ll have to bump him up a solid notch on my list.

I don’t love the Craven production (I don’t hate it either) but Ransom might have a top 3 pen on earth right now. The shyt he’s saying on these director cut scenes is unbelievable

yeah i understand. craven is definitely an acquired taste. and truthfully no self deprecation here but i'm not a producer/audiophile like you so you will probably hear it a bit different than i will.... a more nuanced ear if you will... where i'll probably let some mediocre beats slide a bit more (think canibus ENTIRE discography lmao) just because i'm thirsty for the rhymes. what kiss said? yall use the beats for help, we help the beats. that's ransom right there son, he helps the beats

My top 5 favorite MC’s right now are Benny, Conway, 38 Spesh, Ransom & Freddie Gibbs so this thread is right down my ally. Can’t even say who I’d give the edge to but Griselda has the edge as far as making complete songs that really bang hard. Ran’s Directors Cut series is insane tho & I’ve heard complaints about Craven’s production but I was impressed on those joints. His production really compliments Ransom’s delivery & style because they allow for him to truly standout vocally. Can’t wait until next Friday the 13th when they release Deleted Scenes
