The Daily Show' Guest Host Schedule Features Leslie Jones, Kal Penn, and Sarah Silverman​

In the wake of Trevor Noah's departure from The Daily Show in December, Comedy Central has announced the schedule for the guest hosts who will steer the show until a permanent replacement is named. Comedy veterans Leslie Jones, Wanda Sykes, D.L. Hughley, Chelsea Handler, and Sarah Silverman will each host the show for a week, starting later this month.

New episodes of The Daily Show will begin airing on January 17; Jones will be the first guest host, hosting until January 19. Skyes will host from January 23-26, Hughley from January 30 to February 2, Handler from February 6-9, and Silverman from February 13-16. Following this lineup, Comedy Central also announced that Al Franken, John Leguizamo, Hasan Minhaj, Kal Penn, and Marlon Wayans will be guest-hosting; their dates are forthcoming.

Daily show always catered to a younger fan base. These choices are from bad to worst possible. Sarah Silverman is a racist and not intelligent enough to carry even an episode of this show. John Leguizmo is cool but nobody wants to hear him go on 15 minute tangents about how Hispanics used to be Aztecs and kings each week

Daily show isn't even relevent like late night TV. There is a reason why Stephen Colbert didn't host it. Jon Oliver has completely uptaken the show. The Daily Show died when Jon Stewart left.

Jon Stewart and his team made the daily show. Its going head to head with Fox and he would get plenty of invites. The MOST press Trevor Noah got was during Covid lockdown with the start of BLM. It was all on IG his show wasn't even on. All of his major relevance is him being a celebrity on IG.

Trevor used the show for his clout to his benefit but the Daily Show isn't relevant

Ever since Noah debuted, The Daily Show has lost its teeth. Todays comedians would rather have the clout than be actually funny, which why the next host is gonna be basura too.
