John Wick is a depressed hot head who is a marksman with guns and proficient hand to hand combat... his weakness is that he's a basically a loose cannon who can barely contain is rage.

Robert McCall is calm, patient and calculating, he's also proficient in hand to hand combat.. his weakness is that he's got OCD.

The differences between the 2... one makes sure you know he's coming for you the other you wont see it when he hits you.

Equalizer easy... the way they made him look in that movie, he was invincible. He was Superman and batman combined.
John wick got caught and needed some help but Denzel didnt.
Both movies are overrated. Jason Statham plots with bigger actors as leads
