Curry

I love Westbrook.....Probably my favorite player in the league but Curry is simply glitch in the system. Defenses just weren't designed to have to guard players 30 feet from the basket and pick up a player at half court. There's just no book on how to stop this guy. There’s no right answer for Curry in a ball-screen. Going under is off the table. Fighting over still leaves too much room to shoot. Switch and he dribbles into an open 3. Double and he swings the ball to the open man. Something is always open. The on/off offensive numbers just suggest he is the offense despite how much people claim his team his team is stacked. They're stacked but on the defensive side of the ball.

There isn't really a wrong answer, but I'll say this. Great shooters are very hard come by; Curry may end up being the greatest shooter in NBA when it's all said and done. Westbrook's only problems were his decision making in the
clutch and injury problems. Westbrook shows his worth this season and will end up being the more complete player.

If the Thunder remain healthy this season, no team is seeing them. Not even the fighting Popovichs or LeGM/Coach James will see them.

SOMETHIN REAL FO YO ASS IN THESE HANDS!!!!
The whole Curry having to be picked up at half-court thing; that's not really a valid talking point in this debate.
Yeah, that's cool that he can put that kind of pressure on a defense, however the opposite being true for Westbrook is even more telling:

There's a very good reason folks don't try that shyt on Westbrook, that video above is an example.
Put half your defense on the back half of the court if you want to......

U can't go wrong with either one, however; it's Curry for me by a solid margin.

I probably don't post enough to get POTY, but if u nikkas know my history, yall know I break the game down and U don't hate on nobody. So real talk, Steph gets the edge because as of right now, he has more of an effect in games than anyone in a long time. He is in the running to be called/labeled the most dangerous offensive player since 06 Kobe. Kobe's biggest advantage was his skill level. Kibe was a hell of an athlete, but his skills > his athleticism. Steph Curry is the most skilled player in the NBA, and that's by a LARGE margin. Right now, NOBODY comes close. Russell eats a lot off his athleticism, he may be the least skilled out of the top 10 players in the league (a list that's hard as fukk to make right now cause there is so much different types of talent).

Me personally, I will take skills over athleticism any day of the week. It's what made MJ the undisputed GOAT, and what keeps Lebron miles behind MJ and Bird still considered on an even level. Bron's lack of skill with ball handling, post game, and getting off clean jump shots will forever keep him behind MJ, and always keep Magic and Bird in the conversation with him. In contrast to that, Durant skill level could possibly put him ahead of Lebron if he ever gets a great team around him and wins 3 or more rings (needs to happen soon, will not happen next to Westbrook).

Back to the point. Steph is not an athletic monster like most of his peers, yet, he can do everything they can do because of said skill. Off rip, I I have heard any of you nikkas say that Steph only shoots jumpers, I can't take you fukk nikkas serious. Steph gets to the basket just as much as any of his peers and finishes at a % just as good as them also. Insted of using athleticism to finish over nikkas, his floater and flick layups are the best in the game. EVERYTIME Steph has been pressured this season, he beat his man off the dribble with ease and either pulled up from midrange (I don't think the nikka has missed a midrange jumper at all this season) or got all the way to the basket for a floater or a straight layup off the glass. nikka has numerous finishing moves at the basket on top of how he handles the ball away from the basket to get there.

Matter of fact, I'm blowed as fukk right now and I been sober for weeks. fukk yall nikkas, a wise man told me don't argue with fools:martin:. Ole box score watching ass nikkas:scust:, some of you nikkas are embarrassing

Yeah, that comment would make sense, IF IT WAS ONE PERSON PICKING HIM UP AT 50 FEET. Steph is trapped hard at 50 feet from the basket. First off, no team would ever do that to Russia cause he is not a threat from there, literally not a threat at all so what you are saying makes no sense. Steph is being pressured at 50 ny the on ball defender with the help D right behind the on ball man just in case Steph beats the first nikka off the dribble. The ONLY reason that happens is because of his jumper, the on ball man is pressuring to keep him from getting space from 40 ft in, and the shader is there to contest the shot if the on ball man gets beat. Why the fukk would Russ be played like that:what:. Be real bro, nobody in NBA history has been defended like that

:mindblown:

These nikkas just don't get it. Without Curry on the floor, GS is a bottom 8 team in the league, maybe worse. His teammates eat because of him and what he does. Without Steph, hell, whenever Steph has had a bad night, GS has been horrible as a team.

He has the more of an impact on the game than anybody we have seen in a long time. GS goes as Curry goes. These nikkas are retarded

So, now Russ gotta take the same hits as Durant did on his mvp mission, cause the rest of the team is better? Just asking your opinion, I'm not trying to spin it one way or the other

Nah. They have a solid roster now so it's all good, but last season that team was good enough to make the playoffs and lost 7 of 10 :yeshrug:. Me personally, I think Russ and Durant don't compliment each other, but they are both so good individually they will win games and have playoff success, however; they don't stand a chance against GS, SA, or LAC cause neither player will take a backseat and and a 20+ shots from both of them are not going to beat great teams. It will be 2 on 12 because that is how they will make it, and I'll tell you this much, that is all on Westbrook. Durant is the better player, Russ should fall back and impact the game within the flow, but he will not do that and they will never win a ring together, no matter how the rest of the team looks.
