Jabari Parker

He is ready to go now and seems like he has the right attitude and wants to be great. Cavs have no SF to speak of. Luol Deng isn't staying.....

If I was the Utah Jazz I'd trade any and everything I could to get Jabari Parker/

The Jazz should ONLY pursue Parker for the purpose of needing a SF, not for him being Mormon.

If the Jazz fanbase was that thirsty for a Mormon then why didn't they just draft Jimmer when they needed a PG? Why not just go after Jimmer when they need a guard now?

Dang that they need him. And the fact that he is Mormon is a boon for their area. Just imagine a superstar mormon hooper playing in Utah.

So again, why didn't they just draft Jimmer at the height of Jimmermania when they had the chance?

A superstar in Utah is a boon, religious affiliation not factoring inch at all to it.

Well Jimmer sucked and they knew he'd be not much more than a spot up shooter. But if they had a top 3 pick I'd think they went Parker over Wiggins and Embidd due to the fact they already seem to be set at 4/5.

I really like Embiid but a superstar SF will have more impact on the game in this era of basketball. Wiggins has that potential.

Their SF in theory SHOULD be Bennett. Otherwise what in the hell did they even draft him for?

I know :snoop:

Bennett was such a terrible pick.... I didn't know shyt about this dude so I assumed he was a 3 but come to find out he is a undersized and overweight 4 who played like he deserved a spot in the D-league.

He showed some signs late in the year but he needs a lot of work...

Still don't know what to make of Tristan Thompson... He was a reach with a fourth pick, I didn't remember shyt about him in college and I live in Texas...

I like Dion Waiters (I wanted them to take Harrison Barnes), but him and Kyrie seem to have a Iverson/Stackhouse type of relationship and I'm not sure if they can flourish together

he was yet another reach and a player that didn't stand out in college..

So with a 1st pick and 2 4th picks... They got Bennett, Thompson, Waiters all were kinda "projects" in my opinion and have produced up to their draft value. I would just like them to get a proven talent and a player that is ready to come in a be effective and I just think Jabari is best prepared to do that....

How do we know Parker won't suck? Because let's be real, Jimmer not being a success this far wasn't a foregone conclusion.
