Malenko would be like 800th on my draft board for starting a fed tbf. Dude is the definition of a (quality) curtain jerker.

Anyone who thinks Malenko is the answer here would go broke within 5 minutes in the wrestling business. I'm not even an Ambrose fan. Most of the time I think he sucks, actually.

Honestly it depends on the level you want your company at and what type of product you want to run. If I was looking for a run of the mil super-indy I would pick malenkio but if if you want a traditional product Ambrose.

if malenko is a curtain jerker than what is ambrose? the guy is completely unproven in the main event level and has never shown to be a distinct draw or attraction anytime during his time on top. god knows where he would be on the card if he were competing against the same guys malenko was competing with during that time.

Ambrose has a charisma that a large number of wrestling fans find compelling. There's no denying that the people are behind him.

Malenko was never even 20% as popular as Ambrose is currently, nor could I imagine him ever being. Dude was the definition of a vanilla midget. I doubt this dude ever sold a single t-shirt nevermind selling tickets.

Again, I would just put a mask on (young) Malenko and make him an underdog; I got 0 doubts I would make money. Especially if I put The Patriot gimmick on him and tour the south
