I maybe wouldn't take a bullet for my pets but I'd do everything short of that to save them.

Going off on a tangent here. It always annoys me in movies where a character jumps in slow motion to stop a bullet . A bullet travels at about 2,500 feet per second. or 1,700 miles per hour. The speed of sound is 1,088 feet per second or 786 miles per hour. The person would be dead before you even heard the sound of the gun let alone reacting in time and moving fast enough to block it. Probably family but would they do the same
