Stop purposely making revisionist history and taking away and putting in classics. Its universally agreed:

Jay: RD, BP, BA
Nas: Illmatic, IWW, Stillmatic, Lost Tapes

Anybody who tries to discredit Jay and Nas for those albums has to stop commanding their own opinions like its what everybody else thinks.

Anything else added to that list is a reach.

Since when has the Black Album been a universal classic? Album aint even better than American Gangster which was a 4.5 mic album.

Camel has 2. Thats it.

This is what the fukk i don't like about these Nas warriors. The album came out a week ago and you're already calling it a classic?????:upsetfavre::upsetfavre:

Come on breh, i'm a huge nas fan but :stopitslime:

:usure: I guess that makes Allhiphop and XXL dikk riding stans too since they gave it perfect/near perfect scores

Since when has Stillmatic or It Was Written been a universal classic? Not according to the reviews. Nas has 1 that's it.

Fool, if we go around and ask most random people they will all say like the man said, both got 3 that generally has a consensus. The dillusionals might add compilations and american gangsters or collaborations and on.
And Allhiphop are known for giving high grades, they gave J. Coles Friday Night Lights 10/10. But other than that 9/10, is a good grade doesn't mean that it's a universal classic. And how the fukk can an album be a classic after 24 hours? Most real Nas fans have not even heard the album, a lot of deep hiphop fans have not heard it. And it has not meant shyt to hiphop yet. And as far as reviews go it's averaging 72/100. XXL is still missing so it would probably be like 78/100.

Time has to pass to see if an album is a classic or not, if it's worth the buzz and on. On sohh, specially with Nas stans this is critical. Cause every album is a top 10 album of all time when Nas drops. Remember DR? Which just happened to be nothing more than a good collaboration in the end?

neither of them have a classic album under their belt, although hip hop purists might say Illmatic comes close

Id rather listen to Criminal Minded, Critical Beatdown, or Follow the Leader before any Jay or Nas joints

Nas got him by 1, Illmatic, IWW, and Stillmatic, Jay has BP, and RD, if Life is good still has replay value a year from now, I got Nas by 2
