I think mainstream wise, its Jay but there's heads who like several of Nas' albums too.

I think they both got great catalogues. Both got a couple of 5 mics and the rest are 4 mics and a couple of 3.5's each.

I think the quality of their discographies are more closer than people I think

We need to kill this word.
The term "classic" has no value anymore. I see stans labeling albums a classic an hour after it leaks. Some of these album yall are giving this label don't even have classic songs on them.

Just say you like the album and keep it moving.

 I'm tired, didn't realize what I wrote is therhymeking status.

Don't get me wrong, RD & AG are 4.5 mics, personal classics. But when it comes to a non-skippable albums, they aren't up there with Illmatic & IWW.

i was talking about u saying the blueprint was boring lol

Nas' Life Is Good Receives An XXL Rating From XXL Magazine | Hip-Hop Wired

Illmatic, IWW, Life Is Good, Lost Tapes, Stillmatic <----All albums that have been given Classic ratings from either The Source (while they had credibility) and/or XXL

VS.

Blueprint & Reasonable Doubt (Which was originally given 4 mics until the hype machine convinced you sheep it was on the same level as Ready To Die and Illmatic )

5 to 2.

2 classics in 2 decades? nikka I can divide. Thats 1 classic album every 10 year average and thats so lame. :shaq:

Stop comparing these rappers when they clearly aint in the same weight class

I was :ooh: when it came out but over the years its replay value diminishes more & more :yeshrug: I find myself listening to RD, Vol 1, TBA, AG, shyt even Dynasty over it. There's only so many times I can listen to "U Don't Know" or "Heart of the City".
"Never Change" & "Momma Loves Me" are still :krs: to me though

Stop purposely making revisionist history and taking away and putting in classics. Its universally agreed:

Jay: RD, BP, BA
Nas: Illmatic, IWW, Stillmatic, Lost Tapes

Anybody who tries to discredit Jay and Nas for those albums has to stop commanding their own opinions like its what everybody else thinks.

Anything else added to that list is a reach.

When it comes to all songs/features you enjoy listening in your car regardless of fukking reviews and self-indulgent shyt Jay-Z has easily a better catalogue.

If you are a fukking idiot who gets "knowledge" and "wisdom" from hip-hop records then of course Nas has more "classics". :ld:
