yeah i wasn't that big on drag-on due to the fact that we had so many ill mc's coming out at the same exact time. also, im feeling meek, he killing shyt right now. that said, i gotta side with drag-on, because he might of not have really blew up, but dude could spit, plus he just seems a little more smart than meek millz just from the way that they talk (and im not talking bout accents)

They're both wack. But Drag-On was wack in a better era.

Plus Ruff Ryders > MMG any day of the week.

Drag-On.

Both them nikkas are average rappers surrounded by better nikkas, but the difference is Dragon would actually standout every now an then with a hot ass verse. I never really got that from Meek. Plus his voice get's annoying after a while.

Meek and Dragon are the perfect examples of MC's who to me aren't good enough to hold down solo spots. You throw'em in a group and give them guest verses every once and a while and they not that bad.

shyt its not easy holding down tracks with a prime Lox, DMX, Juvenile, etc...but Dragon did it. Meek has a hard time standing out with nikkas like Ross, Wale and Drake. :snoop:

Yea, I can't really argue this, Meek Mill has been on fire as of late. I just can't believe this is a fair comparison, Meek is stylistically the son of Peedi Crakk (an underrated rapper imo). Drag-On only put out one album for a reason, I mean would he have any fans or would anyone remember him if he weren't part of the Ruff Ryder's, Meek has already begun to establish himself as a capable solo artist.

meek mill >>>>>>> drag on

being whack in a better era doesn't make you better.

Exactly.

Is this even fair.

Meeks looks like he will go on to make more albums after debut.

But, I go with Drag-On just for the nostalgia

One of the most depressing days of my hiphop fandom was when I saw drag-on handing out copies of the pre RR V4 Redemption mix tape from a big ass black garbage bag outside the Apollo on 125th

:sadcam:

I'm still ridin with Drag

Meek already is more relevant and has more good music and popular music than Drag

Plus I've always maintained that Opposite of H2O is one of the most BORING CD's I had. I was anticipating it, too :sadbron:
